Isabel Pantoja's latest trick to pay less to the Treasury: her brother Agustín creates a company in the Canary Islands

The tonadillera already has everything prepared for her 50th Anniversary Tour, which starts next April 13 in Madrid and will take it to Tenerife, Zaragoza, Valladolid or Castellón, among other cities. A journey that will help him resolve his debts with the Treasury (which are around 500,000 euros) and for which both his brother Agustin like her have come up with a very beneficial business trick when it comes to invoicing.

According to the magazine ReadingsAgustín Pantoja has created an artistic representation company with tax headquarters in the Canary Islandswhere they enjoy certain tax advantages with respect to the peninsula: “They do not have a VAT reduction. The tax is lower (7% while on the peninsula it is 21%). The company has not presented accounts, but everything does assume that she is registered for musical events and that she is the one who hires Isabel Pantoja“, they explained. “They are saving 15%, a very important saving because we are talking about events worth thousands of euros. All speaking from the most absolute legality. It would be Agustín who would collect everything from that company and from here he would give a percentage to his sister Isabel, as an employee.”

It just so happens that the promoter of Isabel Pantoja's tour also has tax headquarters in the Canary Islands and received a government subsidy of 160,000 euros to promote and publicize the islands in her shows. Perhaps it was he who advised the brothers to comply with the Treasury, legally saving a few euros.

We will have to wait until March to see the first accounts of said company. At the moment, it is known that he reached a cache of 100,000 euros per concert during his American tour in 2023; The Spanish one, however, goes down a bit: between 50,000 and 60,000 euros per performance. Of course, she travels like a queen: private jet, five rooms to herself in the hotel and a dressing room with flowers, soft drinks and Rioja wine.
