Irene Lozano has already told the mayor of A Coruña that Depor will play in Second B

The Second Division will have 22 teams next season and Deportivo, in addition to Numancia, will play in Second B. This is how it has been transferred Irene Lozano to the mayor of A Coruña, Inés Rey, in a telephone conversation, according to the SER journalist Juan Luis Cudeiro. The president of the CSD advanced to him that in the meeting that they will hold this afternoon with the RFEF and the League, a calendar will be drawn without the blue and white club.

Inés Rey showed her discomfort to Lozano, stating that how can there be doubts and that the CSD looks the other way after what happened in the last month and all the evidence that has come to light. But, except for an unexpected turn, the decision is made after this new step and the resolution of the CAS last Wednesday to grant the powers of the Fuenlabrada Case to the Social Discipline Judge of the League.

The only thing that remains for Deportivo and Numancia now is ordinary justice, to which both will go. Of course, everything indicates that they will have to follow the legal route while playing in Second B next season.

Discomfort at the RFEF

The RFEF will also attend the ordinary courts, where according to Cudeiro the resolution of the CAS has caused deep discomfort. The order states on several occasions that the federation did not present allegations, but according to the entity, there was a request to extend the period of allegations and, for the first time, the CAS did not respond to this request. The RFEF now has a period of two months to appeal in the Central Court of Contentious-Administrative of Madrid.

The CSD denies that it has informed the mayor about the decline of Depor

For its part, the Higher Sports Council denies that Irene Lozano told the mayor of A Coruña that Deportivo would play in Second B. From the CSD they assure that what the president transferred was that the CSD does not have the competence to approve a league of 22, 24 or 26 and that there is no agreement between LaLiga and the Federation that yesterday would suggest that this could occur.
