Infanta Cristina’s Canarian getaway: family dinner of croquettes and entrecôte with her cousin Alexia from Greece

Pre-summer escape from the Infanta Cristina to Lanzarote. The daughter of the emeritus kings has enjoyed the fabulous landscape of the Canary Island with the company of two of her children, one of them Juan Urdangarin. Her cousin and close friend Alexia from Grecia and her husband, Carlos Morales, acted as her hosts. It is published by the Canarian media Lancelot Digital.

Cristina and Alexia, who maintain a close friendship, share the same age (58 years) and are both mothers of a large family (four children). Alexia has always been by her cousin’s side since the years in which the Noos case broke out, in 2006. Doña Sofía’s niece and her husband shared a pleasant seaside evening in the Varadero of Puerto del Carmen, in the Red Crab restaurant. Accompanied by Arrietta, daughter of Alexia and Carlos, and by two of the infanta’s children, they tasted some homemade croquettes and stone-grilled entrecôte, according to the local media.

Another of his outings was to the El Charcón de Arrieta restaurant, where Juan posed with one of the staff employees, as reported on Lancelot Digital networks. And also, a visit to the Uga Winery, which is built on a traditional decorated Canarian house, in a unique enclave, and known for its supply of native products.

Alexia and the architect Carlos Morales, who have four children (Arrietta, Carlos, Ana María and Amelia) live in Puerto Calero, in Yaiza, in a property by the sea, with a pool and garden.

This getaway for Cristina coincides in time with the return of her daughter Irene from Cambodia, where she has worked since last January as a volunteer with the Jesuit Kike Figaredo, a close friend of the family. In fact, the youngest of the Urdangarin-Borbón family has followed in the footsteps of her older brother, Juan, who also had the experience of volunteering. On her return to Madrid, Irene meets up with her boyfriend, Juan Urquijo, brother of Teresa Urquijo, the wife of the mayor of Madrid. Additionally, she must decide what she wants to do with her life in terms of her academic training.
