Incognita Saved: Just a minute and a return in the air

Andrés Guarded played one minute in the current league championship. Seven days passed in which the Mexican was almost unpublished due to physical problems that already conditioned his preseason. Manuel Pellegrini tries to recover one of his most experienced footballers and his goal is to have him back to meet with Elche next Sunday, although so far the player did not exercise in the first training session of the week. All a determining factor for the coach since the course began and that opens many questions about the return of the Mexican to the pitch.

Without saved, Pellegrini made up for his needs by pulling William Carvalho to accompany Guido. The Portuguese has different virtues from those of the Mexican, but he found a place in that 4-2-3-1 that gave such a good result at the start of the League and now generates so many doubts. Pellegrini does not have in mind to vary his drawing, so a return of Guarded would open the option of a change of pieces, either by varying Guido's role as pivot or taking Carvalho out of the equation.

The Betis coach himself referred to the absence of Guarded in his penultimate appearance before the media and made it clear that the footballer arrived in good condition after his presence with the Mexican team and was subsequently injured. After renewing last season, at Heliópolis they hope that Guarded will continue to be an important piece in the squad and his role as captain will also help the Verdiblanco team to have more competitive character on the pitch this season.
