Gareth Bale returned to London in search of his best level. The Cardiff, who was named best player in the Premier, went to Tottenham to recover after some tough seasons in Madrid but not everyone has faith in his recovery.
Roy Keane, a former Manchester United player and now a television commentator, analyzed the Welshman's situation and came up with an unfavorable conclusion. “I don't see Gareth Bale going back to the level he was years ago. Top players need to play week after week,” he says.
Now, Keane adds, he believes he will not return to the level he already exhibited. “Like Cristiano and Messi, when Bale is at his best, he is capable of shining in great moments in great matches but he seems to be far from that,” he says.
So far this season, Jose Mourinho is giving Gareth Bale limited minutes in search of finding his peak of form. The injury as soon as he arrived complicated his participation and the Welshman is trying to recover sensations in the Europa League, where he is a regular. So far this season he has played ten games in which he has scored two goals.
