“I’m dying of grief”

This Sunday everything was joy at the Pombo house and it is that Marta gave birth to her twins, Maria and Candela. Her husband, the dentist, announced it. Luis Zamaolla: “Family, we are doing great. Everything has gone great. We are going to enjoy the moment. We are already here in the room with the two little princesses.” However, they were not able to spend the first night together: one of the girls suffered complications and was transferred to the ICU.

The mother took the floor a few hours ago to share the latest news with her followers: “Yesterday María and Candela were born, it was a fairytale birth. María was born weighing 2.2 kg and Candela 2.4 kg. We spent the night alone with María because our Candelita is in the ICU.” From her hospital bed and with a visibly tired face, she revealed: “She was not able to breathe well on her own because she was premature. She is still in the incubator but doing very well, she has not needed oxygen and if she feeds well and tolerates the milk, she will return to us this afternoon.”

Hours later, however, the little girl is still under observation: “My Marita and I are doing great, but we still don’t have Candelita with us. She will be admitted tonight and probably tomorrow as well because they are doing tests to make sure everything is fine. She is not taking the milk well either, she is throwing it up…”. Despite everything, she has reassured her followers: “Everything is normal and everything is within the parameters of things that can happen to a premature baby. She is super controlled and it is nothing serious but I’m dying of sorrow“, he said on the verge of tears. “I don’t understand what I’m doing here with one and not the other.”

Calmer and with a shy smile, Marta continued: “I’m really enjoying Maria, she’s a little angel and she behaves phenomenally. She’s eating super well and I die of love every time I see her and Candela in the incubator. They’re both beautiful. Of course, what can I say, I’m their mother.” And she revealed: “They’re very different, one is brunette and the other blonde.”
