Illarra suffers a sprained right ankle

Asier Illarramendi does not raise his head with injuries. The captain of the Real Sociedad had returned to ownership by surprise in the Reale Arena game against Real Valladolid. But unfortunately lasted ten minutes on the pitch. This time an unfortunate twist in his right ankle was to blame. In the action leading up to Alexander Isak's first goal, Illarramendi was injured and could not continue because he felt strong pain. Immediately he sent Imanol Alguacil to Martin Zubimendi, and just after the 1-0, he fell to the ground and had to be replaced. Fortunately, in this case it is not a serious injury, because he suffers a slight sprain, although they will do tests to rule out a major condition.

Remember that Illarramendi was injured in the preview of the Copa del Rey final in La Cartuja, for which he had prepared thoroughly after returning to the pitch in this season's Cup tie against Cordoba. That injury in Seville seemed like he was going to leave him out of the game for the remainder of the season. But two weeks ago he surprisingly entered the squad list recovering almost miraculously. And after several workouts working out with the group, midfielder mutrikuarra seemed poised to return to the starting lineup.

But his joy against Valladolid has lasted ten minutes. Now the captain of the Royal Society suffers a sprained ankle that seems not to be serious, according to the doctors of the Donostiarra club. But they are going to perform medical tests to rule out that he may have an affected ligament. In fact, Imanol Alguacil, the realistic coach, has not wanted to get wet and prefers to wait for the evolution of the injury, although he was optimistic. Illarra has withdrawn from the field of play quite affected, with tears in his eyes and supported by all his companions with affectionate gestures. But more than because of the pain, it was because of the helplessness he feels when he does not lift his head with the inopportune injuries.
