CE Sabadell continues to strengthen itself to face its adventure in LaLiga Smartbank with guarantees. The Catalan club has made official this Monday the signing of the Basque midfielder, Iker Undabarrena.
Formed in the lower categories of Athletic, the new harlequin comes from CD Tenerife, where he has competed the last two seasons.
At the age of 25, Undabarrena arrives in Sabadell with the intention of being an important piece in the eleven harlequinado.
The new signing has admitted feeling “very excited about the possibility of joining the Sabadell project” and said he was “very eager to meet my new teammates and contribute everything I have.”
Undabarrena could already have minutes with his new team this Friday when CE Sabadell will play the postponed friendly against SD Huesca.
Undabarrena's is the sixth new face in Sabadell after the arrivals of Fuoli, Cornud, Jaime Sánchez, Víctor García and Juan Hernández.
