Iker Muniain is positive for coronavirus

MADRID, 22 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Athletic Club player Iker Muniain has tested positive for coronavirus, so he will miss the LaLiga Santander match that his team will play this Sunday against Rayo in Vallecas (6:30 p.m.), the Basque entity has confirmed.

“Athletic Club announces that the player of the men’s first team Iker Muniain has tested positive for COVID-19 in the antigen test. The affected person is in good health and is complying with the isolation health protocol at his home,” reported the club.

Athletic recalled that the footballer “has given express consent” to the club to communicate his identity. The Navarrese joins the absences of Oihan Sancet and Unai Vencedor, both injured, for the LaLiga Santander match against Rayo Vallecano.
