If the League resumes the competition and does so or extends beyond June 30, the clubs face the problem of their footballers who end their contract or assignment on that date. And although FIFA is considering retouching contracts if need be, the issue is still very green.
Real Mallorca has six players on loan and two others who end their contracts. In the latter case are the captain of the Xisco Campos squad and midfielder Marc Pedraza, both with very little presence in the team this season, almost testimonial.
And among the six on loan, the presence of Take Kubo stands out. The Japanese is on loan from Real Madrid to Mallorca until June 30 and day 31 of the League features Real Madrid-Mallorca that would normally be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on April 12.
If the return of the competition is delayed long enough for that game to go beyond June 30, should Kubo return to Real Madrid on that date? Will the contracts be extended so that he can continue playing with Mallorca? Could he play against Mallorca dressed in white? Would the quota of players in the Madrid squad and his condition as a non-community prevent him? Would Kubo remain without being able to finish the season?
They are questions, for the moment, unanswered and pending on the eventss. In Mallorca, in addition, five more players are also playing on loan from their clubs: Fabricio, Lumor, Pozo, Ki and Cucho Hernández.
