Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a controversial character as well as a huge footballer. Renewed last April with Milan and will be 40 years old on October 3, the Swedish talent has granted an interview to 'France Football' in which, once again, he does not bite his tongue when answering to questions that have to do with his figure on the pitch.
In an extract from the interview, Ibrahimovic is asked for a comparison with Cristiano and Messi, and he, true to his direct style, is clear: “If we talk about intrinsic qualities, I have no less than them “; to top it off by stating: “When the collective works, the individual benefits: the individual cannot be good if the team is not good. Deep down, I think I am the best in the world.”
In addition to the comparison with the Portuguese and the Argentine, Ibrahimovic is asked about some historical football figures and their relevance: “I don't think it is relevant to compare with them. Everyone played in their generation, with different teammates. Making comparisons gets tricky. “
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been on the list of players who could win the Ballon d'Or on many occasions. His answer confirms how the Swede is, genius and figure: “If I miss the Ballon d'Or? No, it's the opposite, it's him who misses me. I don't know what the basis of the award is, but I'm not obsessed with it. “
Finally, he talked about what he wants to do after football: “After my career, I want to disappear. When you live in this world as long as I do, you know what you've been going through mentally and physically. So, I just want to disappear and enjoy my life.”
