“I would like to continue, but we’ll see”

Diego Lopez ends contract with Spanish next June, but if it depended on him, he would continue in the blue and white team. “I don’t know if I’ll be in the Spanish the next season. I’d like to continue, but we’ll see what happens. Whatever the club decides, it will be fine and I will respect it and take it well. The issue is stopped and I’m not in a hurry. I understand the circumstances and now we are focused on the final stretch of the season,” he said when asked about his continuity during his appearance before the press on Tuesday.

Diego Lopez He has been substituted in the last two games of the Spanish dragging physical problems and is doubtful ahead of next Monday’s duel against Real Sociedad. “I’m in the recovery phase and doing my best every day to be able to play on Monday. We’re going to try and hopefully,” he explained.

If he doesn’t play, they will. Listen to Joan García, to whom he dedicated words of praise. “I see Oier and Joan very well. They are very professional and add to the team in every way. Their effort and perseverance is very important,” said Diego López.

The quoted John Garcia, a promising goalkeeper in whom there are great long-term hopes, has been the center of criticism for unfortunate actions in his first games, and Diego López did not miss the opportunity to show his support. “I have lived what he is experiencing and I know what he may be feeling. Both I and Oier are trying to guide him to be strong. I think he will be a great goalkeeper and that it is normal for these things to happen in a training period. He needs time , trust and tranquility,” he asserted.

Finally, Diego Lopez He spoke about the need to continue competing and fighting until the end despite the fact that the permanence is more than well on track. “I think the end of the season is going to be good. We have to keep adding points to get as high as possible and because there are still a lot of things to play for,” he concluded.
