“I should never have signed for Chelsea”

What soccer lover does not remember the 'Little witch' Veron? The highly talented Argentine midfielder, who fell in love with the football world in the late nineties and early 2000s, has reviewed his career in the magazine ‘FourFourTwo', Where he revealed what his greatest regret was.

“I felt that going to Chelsea could be a good opportunity to play more often, but I should never have gone there. And I'm not saying this for Chelsea, it was good to have a team that wanted to sign me, excited that I could contribute something to them. To make an investment like this, the club has to believe and trust you ”, explained the former footballer.

“It was more difficult for me to live in London than in Manchester because I am from La Plata, which is a fairly small city. I wish I had stayed longer at United, I think I could have done things differently, ”the Argentine international continued 75 times.

He feels that he did not give his best in the Premier

The one from La Plata landed in England after having previously triumphed in Italy in the ranks of Parma Y Lazio, achieving titles with both teams and becoming one of the footballers of the moment at that time. But, as he explained, he could never see the best Veron in the Premier: “At times, I was not able to give Ferguson what he expected from me in a consistent way. I got it in some games, but if you want to be a great player you have to be more stable, and at Old Trafford I wasn't ”, he concluded.
