Is it true that Etxebe used to say “be yourself” in the field?
I've always been a cheeky player, with ambition, wanting to improve and that sometimes leads to a bad port. At Athletic they have tried to teach me that not everything has to be individual, wanting to make the play yourself; but in the end that little piece of yours always stays. Joseba asked me for that impudence, but knowing how to differentiate when yes and when not. I still have a long way to go, but little by little. I am still young.
Young yes, but capable of the best and the worst too?
I always say that when the days are good, enjoy them and when they are not, work to make them so.
