“I don’t have a representative, I’m rare in professional football”

Everything indicates that Lucía and Moraza, the two international players of Athletic, plan to change their scenery this summer. The rojiblanco club has presented both with the corresponding offers, but there is still no response from both. His final destination seems to be far from Bilbao.

When asked about this question, Iraia Iturregi indicated that “women’s football has not been invented now, but in the last 20 years it has grown exponentially at the Spanish level and the change has been amazing. It is what has brought professionalization. The club works well and we get players, but many teams will probably look at our youth academy and our team”.

Loiu’s coach added that “the only thing I know is that the players and the club are working on the renewal. For the club and for me, Lucía and Moraza are two important players. Now the topic of rumors begins, but others are also pending renewal. My focus now is on winning the four games we have left”.

I don’t have one, I’m rare in professional football” and she also commented regarding the continuity of veterans Vanesa Gimbert and Erika Vázquez that “this is a very personal decision. Contract ends in June

The coach of the women’s rojiblanco first team has a contract with the Bilbao club until June 30. Her future, therefore, hangs in the balance given that there are presidential elections this summer. Events will have to wait.

“I finished my contract on June 30 and there is a peculiar situation due to the issue of the elections, but I have not even stopped to think. From the end of the season there is plenty of time. Here, in Lezama, I have grown as a player and coach. For me it is a privilege to work at Athletic. We will sit down, in that sense patience, ”she concluded.
