MADRID, 7 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Husta company combines technology and craftsmanship in its personalized skis, which are manufactured in the heart of the Val d'Aran with local raw materials and aimed at clients looking for exclusivity, performance and sustainability.
Husta offers everything from the experience of the customer designing and manufacturing their own skis with the 'Bespoke' concept to the collection skis that are already on the market with the Paom (all mountain), Lua (touring) and Roc (piste) models. .
Based on the assumption that customizing skis is possible, the entrepreneurs at Husta Skis, a company founded in 2021 by Xavier Giner, Dani Poy and Quim Tomàs, have been developing the Bespoke concept for several years to offer passionate and good-level skiers a unique product.
Husta skis are characterized by having a very important artisanal aspect completed with the highest 4.0 technology with numerical control machines.
Production is carried out entirely in the Salardú workshop, an old cabinetry, using materials that are largely recyclable and with a reduction that can reach up to 70% of the application of plastic material on the skis compared to the processes of industrial brands.
This applies the brand's commitment to maximum sustainability, offering skis with greater durability than those of standardized manufacturing. In addition, we work largely with local wood from the Pyrenees. With this approach, Husta Skis offers a distinctive, personalized and exclusive product, with a timeless design and unique sensations on snow.
BESPOKE SKIING
The company offers three ski concepts in its production, with the 'Bespoke' as the maximum expression of the custom-made product. In English this word means 'made for a particular client or user', but at Husta this concept is raised to the level of maximum experience because the client is the protagonist in the making of their skis.
It is always carried out with the supervision and help of a level 3 sports engineer and technician with several phases of the process that go through the creation of the initial design taking into account the main variables after skiing with that person and understanding their reality. In a second stage, a biometric analysis of the skier is carried out and finally we move on to manufacturing in which the client is the protagonist.
Each person skis in a unique way, so using the same industrial skis reduces the possibilities for learning, improvement and enjoyment. It is a tailor-made process in which high technology is applied. Each ski is unique, there will never be two alike and each model that comes off the press will be exclusive to the skier who has made it with his hands in the Salardú workshop.
CUSTOM MODELS
The second degree of customization is 'Custom' skis. Depending on the level, terrain preferences and objectives of the client, skis can be shaped, unique in design and behavior, on any of the geometries previously studied and proposed in the Husta collection.
These skis are a blank canvas where the client creates designs with the colors, graphics and even the materials and finishes that best represent them. Customs say a lot about the personality of each user.
COLLECTION SKIS
Three models of collection skis are available in the 2023-2024 winter season. Finally, the 'Lua' model, a versatile ski for all levels of skiers with a predominantly off-piste, powder and touring ski focus. Available in sizes 183, 169 and 155 centimeters.
