Huesca get their first victory with Xisco Muñoz

Huesca achieved this Saturday in the Mirandés field (0-1) its first victory with Xisco Muñoz on the bench after six consecutive defeats and thanks to a solitary goal by Marc Mateu in the 68th minute against a local team that continues to two points of the descent.

It was a match in which the first half was balanced but in which, after the break, the ideas were clearer for the Xisco Muñoz team.

After a start of exchanges between both teams, Pulido completely finished off just a free kick by Ferreiro that surprised Lizoain, but the Huesca player’s shot went over Lizoain’s goal.

Those of Xisco Muñoz kept trying and Lizoain had to go out to defend the jabato team after a hard shot by Gaich and a stick after Seoane’s shot.

After half an hour of play, it was the other goalkeeper, Andrés Fernández, who had to start working to prevent Mirandés from going ahead on the scoreboard with a double stop.

The meeting came to rest with 45 minutes of a very entertaining game, with many scoring chances by both teams. However, neither of them was lucky enough to get ahead.

The second half began with great enthusiasm for the Mirandés and specifically the player Riquelme, who in just two minutes generated two dangerous scoring chances.

However, the Aragonese went ahead on the scoreboard thanks to both Marc Mateu.

From there, the Mirandés looked for the tie and in the last minutes the opportunities increased.

In fact, in the 90th minute Gelabert crashed a ball to the post that could lead to the tie.
