Huesca beats ‘euro Granada’ and stays alive

The Sociedad Deportiva Huesca added three gold points that, although they keep him at the bottom, keep him alive and have serious hopes of achieving his goal at the end of the season, which is none other than permanence. The victory of the Huesca team was obtained against a Granada with the head in Europe and little recognizable in El Alcoraz.

Diego Martínez presented a surprising line-up, without any strikers. With the second leg of the Europa League on the horizon, next Thursday in Naples, the Galician coach booked as many troops as he could and left Antonio Puertas in the lead, with Foulquier as a “winger” on the right. The strange 'eleven' even seemed to dislodge his rival, a Huesca who had a hard time getting into the match. So much so that when he wanted to do it he was already behind on the scoreboard. In the 8th minute, Domingos Quina, one of the novelties in the Nasrid team, took a shot out of the hat as soon as he stepped on the area, from the left vertex, and lodged the ball for the squad. A great goal.

The 0-1 took Pacheta's team out of the recklessness, which was already blatantly for the tie. He had it in his hand only five minutes later. Rui Silva came out late in an aerial ball and slapped Escriche in the face. The referee saw no punishable action, but was notified from the VAR room. The Riojan went to the band to see the action on the monitor, rectifying his initial decision, and decreeing a penalty. The maximum penalty, however, was missed by Rafa Mir, as he crashed the ball into the post.

The second “stick” suffered did not daunt Huesca either. He continued to go from less to more against a Granada that took a step back and showed serious coordination deficiencies, especially in defense, which led to the local comeback.

Thus, at half an hour, Escriche tied after taking advantage of a loose ball inside the area after a shot from Ferreiro that hit a rival player. And in the 39th minute, on a corner kick, Pulido made it 2-1 with a header at the far post and after Mikel Rico combed the ball back in the first.

The cherry on top of the good work of the Huesca team would end up with Rafa Mir, also headed and in a corner, with the collaboration of Foulquier. With 3-1 it came to rest.

After passing through the changing rooms, Diego Martínez had no choice but to move pieces. He put Machís and Jorge Molina on the field for Foulquier and Fede Vico and Granada was once again a more 'recognizable' team and soon reflected it on the scoreboard, because in the 59th minute they cut distances through Alberto Soro, who finished point blank a center of Machís. In action, the scorer was injured and had to be replaced by Yangel Herrera.

There was half an hour ahead and everything was to be decided. Granada went on to dominate clearly against a Huesca whose fear entered his body, so Pacheta tried to revitalize it by putting muscle (Doumbia) and depth (Okazaki) in the grass.

In the final stretch, the bad news, in addition to losing, came for Granada in the form of injuries, as Yangel Herrera and Domingos Quina had to leave the field of play, and Germán was sent off, which stopped his chances of drawing. giving air in turn to a Huesca that could even put the fourth with a great shot from Ferreiro that made Rui Silva shine. In the end, the 3-2 remained in El Alcoraz until the conclusion of the clash; three points that are another pure for bottom Huesca and that take down Granada in the race for the ‘Europe zone’.
