How will the Browns’ three different teams play against the Texans on Saturday?

It will begin with the Browns or Texans on January 13, 2023. Both of these teams haven’t been to the playoffs since the 2020 season.

The Texans beat the Browns in Week 16, but the Browns think the Texans will be making changes for the initial round in the playoffs. On Saturday, if they can keep up this good play, the attack should be fine.

Week 16 was the second-worst game this season for the Browns in terms of net running yards, with 54. RB Every time they ran, Jerome Ford got 1.7 yards and Kareem Hunt, a running back, got 1.6 yards.

In that game, the Texans didn’t have DT Sheldon Rankins, DE Will Anderson Jr., or DE Jonathan Greenard. All four players had limited practice time this week, and it’s not clear how they’ll feel on Saturday.

The Texans’ run defense has second in the league; they only let opponents gain 3.5 yards per carry. Also, they give up 1,643 running yards per game, which is sixth worst in the league. The Texans have trouble stopping teams to the red zone.

This season, the Texans have given up 19 running scores, which is the sixth most in the NFL. This helped the Browns win in Week 16 when both Ford as well as Hunt scored scores on the ground.

The Cleveland Browns have been back in the playoffs after being out for two years. They are in the familiar position of a wild card team, even though their record was the same as two division winners.

Houston and Cleveland are forever bound by the huge deal they made in which Deshaun Watson went to the Browns in return for a lot of draft picks.

They still have a final first-round pick from the Browns in April to spend. All of that doesn’t matter now, though, as Watson hasn’t been eligible since Week 11, and that pick won’t be in the top 10.

What’s left, though, is very important. During the 2023 season, the last two expansion teams in the NFL will play each other again. This time, the outcome will be much more important.

Joe Flacco, who is 38 years old, and C.J. Stroud, who is only 17, are 16 years apart in age, but both are both expected to be during the top of their games on Sunday. People should get ready for a fight, because neither for these teams should be here and aren’t ready to go on vacation.

The Cleveland Browns added 38-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco late in the season when they were in need of a quarterback. He will be going up against the Houston Texans and their rookie star quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Stroud just had an amazing first season. Flacco’s first game in the NFL was for the Baltimore Ravens when he was 6 years old.

They are going to Houston’s NRG Stadium, a stadium they have been to before. This is the stadium’s first playoff game because the 2019 season.

Since January 1, 1995, the Browns have only won one playoff game. There are some great stories about them, but Stroud is the main draw here. He had many big games and comeback wins.

As a rookie, he set the record for most passes completed without an interception (470) and the most yards passed in a single game. The second pick in the draft is already a star.

Stroud stood out in a bad year for passers. For a rookie, he’s very calm in the pocket. He is strong enough to make all of the throws.

He also knows a lot about the game and how to be a good boss. For a long time to come, Stroud will be a well-known face in the NFL. A big step towards that is his first game in the playoffs.

The Texans’ left tackle Laremy Tunsil is a job that is hard. His main job will be to block Myles Garrett, who is one of the odds favorites to win NFL Defensive Player for the Year.

Pro Football Focus says Garrett had eight hits, which is the most on his team, when the Texans or Browns played in Week 16.

He didn’t have a sack. Of those, not all of them were on Tunsil. In that game, Houston right tackle Charlie Heck giving up 11 hits.

Unfortunately, Tunsil has been hurt, especially in his hip, which kept him from practicing last week.

PFF says that’s why he gave up 20 hits for his first time as 2019 and five sacks, which tied the high point of his career.
