How much prize money does Nadal get for winning the Acapulco ATP?

A list of winners that continues to grow. After his triumphant tour of Australia, with the ATP 250 in Melbourne and, above all, the Open, Rafa Nadal adds his umpteenth trophy: the ATP 500 in Acapulco. The way to him, again, for history. In the semifinals, Daniil Medvedev, also defeated in the final of the aforementioned majorpremiered condition of number one in the world and warned: “Now I can have a chance for revenge,” he declared during the pre-match. Nothing is further from reality. Nadal advanced to the final and, in it, Cameron Norrie (6-4, 6-4) could not stop the Balearic’s feet either.

New title and, with it, a new financial prize. Acapulco, like the rest of the ATP tournaments, reward your participants based on how far they get in the grid. Being in the first round supposes an income of 13,090 dollars. The eighths are paid at 24,540 and the quarters, at 45,975. The semifinals, where Nadal again defeated the Russian tennis playerreach $89,985 and finalist status breaks the $100,000 barrier, for a total of $169,500. Winning the tournament, finally, is awarded with 314,455 dollars, almost 280,000 euros.

This last figure is the one that Rafa Nadal will pocket. An important amount, but far from the one he got in the Australian Grand Slamhis 21st, that of the historic tiebreaker with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, in which he reached $2,875,000 (2.58 million euros).
