How much money does the winner of the ATP Cup 2021 win?

Russia She is the new champion of the ATP Cup and as such is entitled to a succulent financial prize. Less, yes, than the one Serbia received last year, well the pandemic has forced a 40% snip on the check, which now amounts to a not inconsiderable 7.5 million dollars (just over 6.2 million euros).

But that is not the only amount that the organizers give to the participants. There are also established a series of rewards for attendance and victories. The number one in each country, for example Nadal in Spain or Djokovic in Serbia, charged between 74,000 and 94,000 euros for his presence, depending on the position of his team among the participants. For number two, the range, depending on the position he occupies in the world ranking, was from just over 7,000 to 74,000 euros. The rest of the members received between 2,400 and 10,000.

Besides, each triumph of the leaders of a team has meant entering 25,000 to 159,000 euros depending on whether this was achieved in the group stage, semifinals or final. The victories of the second swords were worth from 17,000 to 112,000 euros and those of the doubles players, from 5,000 to 31,000. For each tie won in the group stage, each player on the winning team received around 5,000 euros; in the semifinals, about 15,000. The Russians took about 28,000 a head with their victory in the final.
