Rafa Nadal is the new champion of the Masters 1,000 of Rome 2021 and, as such, it corresponds to the juiciest check of a total amount of cash prizes that this edition amounts to 2,082,960 euros, 39.9%less than in the previous one.
Of that figure, Nadal takes 245,085 euros, 19.4% more than Djokovic, champion last year. The Serbian is entitled, as a finalist, 145,000 euros, 3.3% less than Schwartzman in 2020. Roberto Bautista, who reached the eighth, for his part takes 28,200 euros, a cut of 53.77% compared to the previous edition. The same one that Davidovich suffers, another that reached the third round.
The distribution of prizes is not the same in the female box. In this case, the Polish Iga Swiatek will get 178,630 euros (12.94% less), while Karolina Pliskova, defeated in the game for the title, pocketed 132,258 euros. The Spanish Garbiñe Muguruza, who remained in the eighth, receives 16,953 euros, 12.41% less than what she would have had 12 months ago.
