Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove said goodbye to Celta de Vigo on Monday, the club with which he fulfilled his “dream” of making his LaLiga debut against Villarreal in January 2021.
“It’s time to say goodbye after two years at Celta. I am very grateful for the opportunity they have given me and for helping me fulfill one of my dreams of playing in LaLiga”, commented the footballer.
Holsgrove thanked the sky-blue fans for all “the great support” they have given him since he arrived at Balaídos in September 2020, and says he is leaving Vigo after meeting many colleagues whom he will “call friends for life”.
In this last season, the midfielder has not counted for the coach Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet in the first team, so his role was limited to playing with the subsidiary in the First RFEF (35 games, 3079 minutes).
