MADRID, 21 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation, Francisco Blázquez, and internationals from the men’s and women’s national teams, the ‘Hispanos’ and the ‘Guerreras’, shared their successes in recent championships at the headquarters of their sponsor Correos on Monday , informs the RFEBM.
Los Hispanos and las Guerreras have shared with the postal entity the silver medal in the 2022 Men’s European Championship and fourth place in the 2021 Women’s World Cup, the first in history organized in Spain.
The president of Correos, Juan Manuel Serrano, and the president of the RFEBM, Francisco Blázquez, attended the event, together with the national coach Jordi Ribera, the player Ángel Fernández and the ‘team manager’ David Barrufet, on behalf of the Hispanics and recently landed from Denmark.
For their part, the coach José Ignacio Prades and the player Paula Arcos attended on behalf of the Warriors, who next April must certify their classification for the 2022 European Championship.
“This is your home, it is the sport that is giving us the most joy and the greatest return, nobody had achieved what you have achieved. We have seen an opportunity in sport as a logistics operator, with spectacular events and projects as an investment to reach the society,” said Juan Manuel Serrano.
Francisco Blázquez has acknowledged that Correos feels part of handball, “and that is perceived in the offices themselves.” “It’s something that, without a doubt, fills me with pride,” Blázquez added.
