Higuaín is already in Turin

The Argentinian Gonzalo Higuain, Juventus forward, returned to Turin this Friday on a flight from Buenos Aires and will respect now fifteen days of quarantine before being able to train with his companions.

Higuaín landed in Turin after 16.00 local time (15.00 GMT), after a stop in Las Palmas, and was picked up by a Juventus car at Caselle airport, local media reported.

The “Pipita” hHe had returned to Argentina on March 19 to be with his family, in the most acute phase of the coronavirus pandemic in Italy, after receiving the go-ahead from Juventus.

He is the last member of Maurizio Sarri's team to return to Turin after ten other players did it in the past weeks, among them the French Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot or the Brazilians Álex Sandro and Douglas Costa.

Higuaín must be in quarantine for fifteen days, in accordance with Italian regulations, before being able to join the Juventus rally, which will begin next Monday at the Continassa sports center.

The former Real Madrid striker he scored eight goals in the 34 games played this year, before the competition was interrupted on March 9 because of the coronavirus.
