Hierro, after secretly marrying his pregnant journalist girlfriend: “It was the crowning of our love”

Fernando Hierro (55) and his journalist girlfriend, the Croatian Fani Stipkovic (41), they are in a cloud of love. Weeks before becoming parents of their first child together, the two secretly married in Mexico, where they are based.

Hierro and Stipkovic, who is also a model, have been dating for a couple of years. This is the first child for her and the third for him, since he has two previous ones (Alvaro 28 years old and Claudia of 30) fruit of his marriage with Sonia Ruiz, from which they separated in 2019. The ceremony took place on the terrace of the Casa de Pedro Loza in Guadalajara. The two sold the exclusive this Wednesday to the greeting magazine.

Fernando, current sports director of the Guadalajara Sports Club, said: “We didn’t have time to organize a wedding as we would have liked, with all of our family and friends. That’s why we decided that we would have it, but for ourselves.”

Thus, the wedding was celebrated in the strictest privacy. The love between the two was enough: “Something like the coronation of our love. Something intimate, small, without any show… But a big step forward to formalize the budding family.”

Stipkovic has also spoken about it: “We have many people on both sides with whom we would have liked to share this day, but, since it was not 100% possible, we decided to make it something smaller. For us… And for us child”. The man from Malaga asked her to marry him more than a year and a half ago: “he told me that, for a long time now, he would have liked to share his life with me,” explains Fani.

Thus, he points out that since then his life has been a spiral of emotions: “It was very nice. Fernando asked me to marry him, I got to know the country… The child arrived. Because of all those circumstances I remember him in a very special way. Perhaps, the “The most intense and romantic moment for me was seeing his gaze full of love placing the ring on me. I saw something very honest and transparent in his eyes. I saw someone who really loved me and wanted to share his life with me. Just like I did with him.”

They announced their pregnancy in June through social networks: “Our greatest blessing comes from the purest love… Our little angel can’t wait to hug you,” Hierro wrote then. They are already in the final stretch of pregnancy. In a few weeks you will see the face of the apple of your eye.
