The Hertha Berlin has fired his technician, the Hungarian Pail Dardai, for the bad streak of results of the Bundesliga club. Dardai will be relieved by German-Turkish Tayfun Korkut, who has signed a contract until the end of the season, club sources reported.
Hertha Berlin drew (1-1) last weekend in a league match against Augsburg, also in the bottom of the Bundesliga standings. A week before, they had been defeated in the capital derby against Union Berlin (2-0).
Dardai, who had already coached Hertha in 2015 and 2019, returned to the Berlin club in January with the aim of revitalizing it. They are currently 14th in the Bundesliga standings, while Union Berlin is 6th.
