“He doesn’t let me be a father”

The Valencian sculptor has been in the headlines in recent days for his special friendship with Ricky Martin, whom he has accompanied in several concerts on his Spanish tour. However, this Wednesday he surprises us on the cover of a magazine with a very different subject: a new legal battle with Miguel Bose. Nacho Palau has again sued the singer for “failure to comply with measures” regarding the vacations of their children, because although the Supreme Court did not consider them legally siblings, it did stipulate that they had been raised as such and should spend time together.

And so it was in the first months after the sentence. Bosé has offered to travel to Mallorca with expenses paid so they can all meet on the island, but he won’t let Nacho take the children to Valencia. “Half of the holiday period was supposed to be in Chelva, but he did not allow the children who live with him to come with me. My mother and my family were left without seeing them.”says Palau.

Despite the rapprochement between Bosé and Palau when the latter fell ill with lung cancer, their relationship is now neither cordial nor fluid. The return to court will further cool things down.

The singer and the artist were together for 26 years, during which time they were parents of two biological children each through surrogacy. The minors were raised together as brothers in their early years until Miguel and Nacho’s separation in 2018. The Valencian fought for the minors’ parentage in court, but failed: “I want to share this difficult moment with you. Today my children have not been recognized for what they are from the moment they were born. They have been told that what they live and feel is not true, they have been told that they are not brothers. Something terrible. They have also been told, against what they know perfectly well, that they do not have two dads. All this after five long and very complicated years for everyone.”

Bosé reappears this Friday

For the moment, there is no response from the singer to his ex’s latest legal move. He is focused on the event he will sponsor on July 26 with Josep Pamiés, a well-known anti-vaccine denier who recommends treating autism with bleach: “Save the date. On July 26 we are pleased to invite you to a great event to celebrate our sovereignty along with a bit of irreverence,” the singer commented on his social networks a few days ago.

Bosé and Pàmies already coincided exactly two years ago, when Lucía Bosé’s son defended that children should not be vaccinated. This summer’s event is headlined: Freedom of expression and therapeutic freedom. At the event, the singer and the healer will be accompanied by Nadiya Popel and Ángel Ruiz Valdepeñas, suspended by the Official College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands (Comib), who have condemned the event as contrary to good medical practice.
