Harry’s memories: William assaulted him, threw him to the ground and called Meghan “difficult, rude and abrasive”

The Prince Harry states in his memoirs Spare that your brother Guillermo rated his wife, Meghan Marklefrom “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive” during a fight that ended with the Prince of Wales grabbing him by the neck, breaking the necklace that Harry used to wear and throwing him to the ground, where the youngest of the sons of Charles III he ended up slamming into the dog bowl.

This is a new excerpt from the autobiography that will be released in a few days, but that has already been leaked to the English newspaper The Guardian. In his memories, Harry recalls what he describes as a physical attack by his brother, which he claims left him with visible injuries, including scratches and bruises.

The furious dispute allegedly broke out in the kitchen of their London home, Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019. According to the book, in that discussion William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “aggressive”. and insisted that he was trying to “help” his younger brother during a meeting about the “whole rolling catastrophe” of their failed relationship and Harry’s spats with the press.

The account states that he gave the heir to the throne a glass of water and said, “Willy, I can’t talk to you when you’re like this.”

Brothers fight in the kitchen

The Duke of Sussex describes how the fight started on his feet, and that he was scared when he saw his brother “leave the water, call me by another name, and then come towards me. It all happened so fast. Very fast. He grabbed me by the neck, he ripped my collar and knocked me to the ground. I landed in the dog bowl, which cracked under my back, and the pieces cut me. As reported in various English tabloids, Harry says in the book that his brother urged him to defend himself, as it happened when they fought as children. The Duke of Sussex recounts in his story that he refused, so his sister left, only to come back “with a look of regret and apology.”

When Guillermo left the scene of the fight, he told his little brother “you don’t need to tell Meg about this”, to which Harry asked him “You mean you attacked me?”, and Guillermo categorically denied: “I didn’t attack you, Harold.”

Of course Harry discussed this with his therapist, but not with his wife, who he says knew about it because he couldn’t hide the bruises and cuts. Megan “wasn’t that surprised and she wasn’t that angry,” according to Harry: “She was terribly sad,” he recounts in the book.

This is not the only revelation extracted from the memories that will cause people to talk. According to the leaks, Harry recounts that William and Kate told him to wear a Nazi uniform to a costume party, that the two brothers refer to each other as “Willy” and “Harol”, and most painfully, that King Charles allegedly told Harry’s mother, the Princess Dianathe day he was born: “Wonderful! Now that you have given me an heir and a spare, my work is done.”
