Eight days after its worldwide launch, the conclusion is clear: In the shadows it has killed the Dukes of Sussex in the media. Their popularity ratings have fallen to the abyss even in the United States, where the latest polls label them as ‘unwelcome’ characters among the American elite.

Los Angeles welcomed Harry and Meghan Markle with open arms but the continuous and indiscriminate attacks of the couple against the British royal family have exhausted the patience of the public that gave them a new home. According to the latest Newsweek poll, the prince has dropped 45 points in the popularity rating in the past week; while his wife has done so in 36 points.

They know it and they are worried. Therefore, Harry has agreed to meet with his father, the King Charles IIIand his brother, the Prince Guillermo, before the coronation of the first, on May 6. “Flexibility is going to be needed on all sides, but it can be done and it can be solved,” a source close to the king told The Sunday Times. “Both parties need to raise their hands and admit that they didn’t do everything right, and we were wrong about a lot of things, and we have to say to him, ‘We understand the pain you’ve been through.’ Not everyone here was on their best behavior, but Harry has “We have to be able to sit back and say: ‘We’re not behaving well either’. We have to move on it and do it before April. The King needs a clear run for the coronation,” he added.
