“It was incredible how we played, I’m not worried”

The coach of FC Barcelona, Hansi Flick, confessed the team’s disappointment over the defeat (1-2) against Atlético de Madrid in the last play, but assured that he is not worried after the level and way of playing of his team this time. I appreciate how we played, but we have to play smarter and learn from these things. Everyone could see the quality. Losing nine points at home is not normal and we have to work on it,” he added.
Furthermore, Flick praised Pedri’s great game that “is very nice to see play” and accepted the bad streak with optimism. “We play football to win. We have to concentrate on the next home games, we have to win every game. Today we saw how we know how to play and that is the positive aspect. We are very disappointed by the defeat, but life goes on. We will celebrate Christmas and on the 29th we will train again and focus on what we can do,” he commented.
“We lost a lot of points and we are not leaders, but I am not worried, the team is working, it knows how to play and it showed today. The last two games have been horrible because I have not been able to be with the team. I am not worried, my team knows how to play very good. I can promise that we will fight for every point and to win every game. Being in this club is special and the players are prepared to be here,” he concluded.
