Already preparing next season with Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland, one of the sensations of world football in his late twenties, said he has room to improve and praised the qualities of the young prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko, who at 15 trains with the first team of said German club.
Haaland said: “I can improve in everything. He could have scored more goals and given more assists, had a better relationship with others on the field. Yes, I can improve myself in everything, and that is very good. I'm going to face it all day after day and game after game. I'm still young so I have to focus on what I can. I want to win every match.
Regarding Moukoko, Haaland reiterated: “To be honest, when I was 15 years old, I was not as good as Youssoufa Moukoko. It's amazing to see him at this level with us. […] And I'm very happy that Jadon Sancho is staying with us ”.

Moukoko, a German striker of Cameroonian origin, made his debut for Borussia Dortmund's Under-17 team and the German Under-16 team when he was 13 years old. His scoring records in the lower categories have been remarkable. In 2017-2018 he scored 40 goals in 28 games and in 2018-2019 he raised the record to 46 in 25 games.
In 2019-2020, he was promoted to the Dortmund Under-19 team at the age of 14, and in his first match in the category he scored six goals in a 9-2 victory against Wuppertal.
