Haaland, Norway's first top scorer in history

Erling haaland, forward of Borussia Dortmund, he is the first Norwegian to be the top scorer in the Champions League, an award in which he relieves the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich.

After disputing the final in Porto between Manchester City and Chelsea, Haaland has been proclaimed top gunner of the 'Champions' 2020/21 with ten targets, which he added until the round of 16, in which he became the executioner of the Seville, by scoring two goals in the first leg in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and two others in the lap in the Signal Iduna Park. In the quarterfinals, against City, he did not score.

Haaland beat Frenchman Kylian Mbappé by two targets (PSG) and in four to the Spanish Álvaro Morata (Juventus), into English Marcus rashford (Manchester United), to the Brazilian Neymar (PSG), into French Olivier giroud (Chelsea), Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri (Seville), to the Egyptian Mohamed salah (Liverpool) and French Karim Benzema (Real Madrid).

It is the lowest figure for a top scorer in the Champions League in one season since they reached ten in 2014/15 Lionel messi (Barcelona), Neymar (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).

Last year Lewandowski achieved fifteen goals, in the 2018/19 edition Messi reached 12 and in the previous three Cristiano Ronaldo accumulated, 15, 12 and 16.
