Haaland has a €200m release clause for non-English clubs

MADRID, 11 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has a termination clause of 200 million euros for clubs outside the Premier League, according to a report by the English outlet The Athletic, which would affect possible interest, for example , from Real Madrid or FC Barcelona.

According to the report, the clause can be activated in the summer of 2024, from which non-English clubs should pay the aforementioned amount to get the services of the Norwegian, the fashion forward of European and world football. This closes the door to the incorporation of the battering ram to other powerful clubs in the Premier.

Haaland joined Manchester City this summer from Borussia Dortmund in exchange for 75 million euros and had a brilliant start with Pep Guardiola’s team. So far, he has scored 20 goals in nine Premier League games and three Champions League games.
