The Spanish midfielder Gerard Gumbau became a new Granada CF player this Thursday, free from Elche CF for a new adventure in LaLiga EA Sports.
“Granada CF and the player Gerard Gumbau have reached an agreement for him to join the rojiblanco team. The midfielder arrives free from Elche CF,” announced the Andalusian team around midnight.
Gumbau (Campllong, Girona, 1994) was trained in the lower categories of Girona FC, from where he joined the FC Barcelona youth academy. He spent five seasons in the culé team and made his debut with the first team, before signing for Leganés.
He spent two seasons with the Madrid team and then returned to Girona, where he stayed for another two and a half seasons before joining Elche in the winter of 2021.
“The club welcomes Gerard Gumbau as a new Granada CF player, as well as wishes him the best of luck on his arrival at the rojiblanca entity”, added the Nasrid team.
