Guardiola and Lillo test positive for coronavirus

MADRID, 6 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and his assistant coach, Juanma Lillo, have tested positive for coronavirus and will not travel to Swindon to direct the ‘Citizens’ match on Friday of the FA Cup third round, the club has announced English.

Both the Catalan and the Gipuzkoan tested positive for COVID-19 after the tests they were subjected to last Tuesday. “Both are now isolated, along with other positive cases within the City’s first team bubble,” the entity reported.

In this way, the number of those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in the club rises to 21. Of these, 14 affected are first team personnel and seven of them are players. Assistant coach Rodolfo Borrell will take over the team for the trip to Swindon.
