And in one of his interventions, he has recounted the nightmare that he has lived in the last years of his life, where he has had to fight against depression and anxiety to the point of asking to enter a psychiatric hospital to recover.

It all started in 2016, when Gronkjaer began to feel fatigue. “The first little symptoms, which I didn't even notice, started with a violent rash on my neck. It was an outbreak of herpes and chickenpox, I lost some hair and it was very difficult for me to maintain order at work, “said the former footballer in Go Aften Live from TV2, according to Ekstrabladet.

A year later, the situation had not improved: “Unfortunately, the pill you take only works after two or three weeks. It's not the case that when you take it, it picks you up right away. At first, the side effects increase, and that was a problem for me, ”he recalled.

So he planted himself. He spoke to his wife. “I had to tell him that this was no longer possible. I need help! On Monday, Gronkjaer took the last pill of the treatment, and wanted to share the moment on his social networks, trying to make all his followers aware of the importance of mental health and the need to seek specialized help.
