Griezmann, the best of the month: “I knew that with confidence I would do well”

Antoine Griezmann has been chosen Atlético’s best footballer for November. The Frenchman is already established in the team and, during this last month, he was able to celebrate a great goal in Mestalla and another in Cádiz to Llorente’s pass. For Simeone it is fundamental and the fans have rewarded him. The player commented on his feelings after the award:

Best of the month award: “Very happy, the support of the fans is always needed and we always try to give the best of each one in the games and also outside, when we meet people. It’s a joy and I hope more will come ”.

Personal situation: “It took me a while to get there well, it’s a lot of change in tactics, in rhythm, in other things that the coach asks for. I knew that, with the confidence of the coach, the teammates, the club and the fans, it would go well. I am feeling very well, enjoying myself and this will continue ”.

Challenges: “Very important games are coming, beautiful ones. To play and to live them with our fans. We will do our best to do it well and give a very nice Christmas to our people and to ourselves ”.
