Granada ties two pearls from the quarry

Granada also works thinking about the future and has managed to ensure the continuity of two of its most promising talents: Adrián Butzke and Bryan Zaragoza. The homegrown players have signed a new contract that will link them to the rojiblanco club until 2026 and 2024 respectively.

Butzke burst into force in the first Cup tie against CD Laguna, scoring a hat-trick. He also had minutes in the league against Mallorca. Butzke entered the Granada quarry ten years ago, being a child. Since then his progress has been excellent. In addition to his appearances with the first team, the striker accumulates 14 games in 2nd RFEF with Recreativo Granada, having scored four goals and distributed an assist in 1,180 minutes of play.

Bryan Zaragoza has also made his debut this season with the first team in the Cup against CD Laguna. The winger landed in the Nasrid quarry in the youth team and since then has become one of the most promising pieces of the base. This season, in addition to the minutes he played in the Cup with the first team, he has participated in 17 games for the subsidiary, scoring a goal and handing out an assist.
