Granada – Athletic: Yuri leads Athletic to the final

Yuri woke Los Cármenes. The Granada had done the most difficult thing carried away by a hobby that knew that it lived a historical moment. And the Nasrids did not wrinkle. Upside down. After a first half that ended with a goalless draw, Carlos Fernández matched the tie and Germán put Granada in the grand final for a few minutes. It took Yuri to step on the area and beat Rui Silva. Athletic did not make their best game, uncomfortable and without that mordant that stuns their rivals, but won their ticket to La Cartuja where the Royal Society was already waiting. Granada probably deserved more. There will be a Basque derby in the grand final.

Both teams came out with their eleven gala and five defense. A goal in any goal could change everything. With Los Cármenes delivered, Granada came out to bite. It took two seconds to make the first foul. I wanted to intimidate Athletic. But he didn't do it sometimes. Machís, with a soft shot, and Yangel in a shot outside, put the first approaches. However, although Granada had more mordant, its centers from the bands did little damage to the three Basque towers and Athletic was growing as the Nasrids lowered the suffocating pressure. Rui Silva had to appear, although to get a shot from Victor Diaz who was going to goal. Y Williams put the fear in the body to the grenadines. First with a shot that the Portuguese goal sent to the corner, then with a shot outside and later assisting Raúl García who, just, sent the ball high. Forgive Athletic. Granada again suffocated and was about to roll it Unai who, with the pressure of Carlos, lost the ball, but the Sevillian did not know how to solve the move already very locked. Y, when the first part was dying, Yangel finished off a corner and Williams, under sticks, saved his team. The game went to rest with the feeling of both teams thought more about not fitting than scoring.

The second part started with an Athletic who wanted to have the ball. But, after three minutes, Machís went into the left and put a center measured to Carlos Fernández who made a certain stubble to make the tables in the tie to wake up from the lethargy of rest to the stands. Granada had already matched San Mamés and now it was Athletic who looked the most pressed. Garitano switched to four defense to have more presence above, but what he did was that Granada found the bands more easily. The Basque coach's plan did not work. Little deep and without finding Williams, the ball was the most dangerous of the Bilbao. Granada, on the other hand, was quieter. The initial anxiety to tie the tie had disappeared and each hospitalized by band was danger. He had a good Williams, also Carlos Neva. Until, when there was a quarter of an hour left, Machís hung the second corner followed in favor of the Nasrids and Germán emerged for another big shot to put the 2-0 that gave the momentary pass to Granada. There was a lot of time left, but Athletic was touched. He was not in front of a group from Granada that did not weigh his legs and flew across the lawn, carried on wings by the fans. GAritano pulled Aduriz to intimidate the Nasrid defense more and the plan, this time, worked. In a good play on the left, Yuri entered the area and, instead of looking for the center, pulled to beat Rui Silva and turn off Los Cármenes. Athletic was now the finalist. There were only eight minutes left and, if something has the Nasrid team, it's ambition. He went for the goal, that goal that put him back in the grand final. Diego Martínez also moved the bench with two attack men, Vico and debuting Antoñín. But Athletic, tanned in a thousand battles, was turning the revolutions down, stopping the rhythm of a Granada that knew that the final was escaping. Desperately, with balls that didn't go anywhere, Granada was exhausting its options to make its history bigger. La Cartuja will live a Basque derby in the grand final. Athletic continues to dream about this year if they take out the barge. Granada puts an end to his dream butler with a very high head.
