Granada has made official this afternoon the dismissal of its general director, Patricia Rodríguez, after the relegation to the Second Division was completed just over a week ago. The rojiblanco board of directors, which a year ago considered Rodríguez as the ideal person to succeed Antonio Monterrubio and lead the day-to-day management of the clubhas changed his mind due to the sporting collapse suffered this season.
“Today, the board of directors has agreed with the general director to terminate her services, thanking her for her efforts and wishing the best for the future”, states the statement made official by the Nasrid entity.
Granada, who also dismissed Pep Boada as sports director days ago, will vary in this way most of its structure to try to regain lost momentum and design a project to return the team to the First Division the next campaign.
From the club they announce imminent news in this sense. “In the next few hours, the new work structure for the season we are facing will be presented, willing to listen to the fans and build together the promotion that the club deserves“, ends the rojiblanco statement.
