Gloria Trevi shows her face after being accused of child abuse: “I have the truth on my side”

Gloria Trevi (54) has been sued by two women, whose identity they have preferred to preserve, who accuse him of recruiting girls and adolescents for a sexual abuse network together with the producer Sergio Andrade, as collected by the magazine Rolling Stone this Thursday.

According to the lawsuit to which the aforementioned outlet has had access, neither the name of Trevi nor that of Andrade appear literally in the document, but due to the details presented by the plaintiffs and the chronology of their narrations, it makes it clear that they are both accused.

The two alleged victims allege that they were 13 and 15 years old when the singer of Everyone look at me groomed and manipulated them on various occasions to become “sex slaves” to the producer and that much of the abuse took place in Los Angeles County.

It should be remembered that the Mexican singer was acquitted by a judge two decades ago of the same charges. A few hours after the information reached the media, the Monterrey company has published a statement defending itself against the accusations made about her person.

“My words are directed to all those who are reading and hearing things about me without knowing the background of the situation, nor the true story. Being a victim of physical and sexual abuse is the worst thing that can happen to a human being, what I say and I know it as a survivor. My feelings go out to anyone who has been the victim of any type of abuse, but I will not stay silent while I am unfairly accused of crimes I did not commit,” she wrote on Instagram.

“It is very painful for me and for my entire family to see false accusations made against me resurface more than 25 years ago and that have already been tried in various courts and in all instances I was completely acquitted. They were false accusations then and they continue to be false accusations now. A court in Mexico meticulously examined, during a process of almost five years, all the evidence and ruled in my favor because I have the truth on my side. I am the one who has had a lawsuit in the United States for many years to take my slanderers to court. I ask you to see beyond the absurd and tabloid headlines and wait for the true facts. I will continue working and defending myself until I obtain justice in this case,” he said.
