Valencia City Council hosted this Tuesday the draw for the final phase of the Copa de la Reina 2022, with a quarter-final where the current champion Spar Girona will face Movistar Estudiantes or Perfumerías Avenida, in another prominent crossroads, IDK Euskotren.
With the Crystal Hall as the stage, the city of Turia hosted the draw for the quarterfinals of the Copa de la Reina, with the host Valencia Basket against Casademont Zaragoza and Cadí La Seu against Lointek Gernika as the other two quarters .
On the one hand, the current leader of the League, Perfumerías Avenida, will seek a spot in the semi-finals against IDK Euskotren. For its part, the host Valencia Basket will do the same against Casademont Zaragoza.
Meanwhile, the current cup champion, the Catalans from Spar Girona, will defend their condition against Movistar Estudiantes and Cadí La Seu and Lointek Gernika will look for one of the ‘semis’ tickets.
The Copa de la Reina will kick off on Thursday, March 24 with the first two quarterfinal matches, completed on Friday the 25th. The semifinals will take place on Saturday the 26th while the grand final for the title will take place on Sunday the 27th.
