Girona does not give up and wins in Gran Canaria

Girona came back to Las Palmas (1-2) and won again after poor results. Francisco's men turned the score around with goals from Mamadou and Yan Couto and are still alive in the fight to enter the promotion promotion.

Little had happened in the first half, but the equality that prevailed in much of the first 45 minutes was broken little to reach the break, when Nahuel Bustos committed an absurd penalty that was converted by Álvaro Lemos, who perfectly deceived Juan Carlos.

The goals before the break usually mean hard blows for the teams that fit them and even more so in Girona, which has not found a good version or good results for a long time. However, before this, Francisco's team reacted well and in one of the first actions after the break they found the tie thanks to a defensive error in the canaries' ball exit that Mamadou took advantage of to equalize the score.

The goal boosted the Girona team, who freed themselves from the pressure they had on them and began to enjoy the ball. Girona recovered a ball a few meters from the front and Gumbau, in a good action, divided until filtering for Mamadou, who cut and Yan Couto, faster than anyone, put the tip to overcome Álex Domínguez.

The visitors controlled the match without hardship. Las Palmas wanted to attack from the inside, but the high pressure from Girona in the opposite field and the solidity behind prevented it. In the 90 'Santi Bueno saw the direct red after a tackle on the edge and Juan Carlos cleared Lemos' attempt.
