MADRID, 23 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The FC Barcelona Women’s coach, Jonatan Giráldez, set the goal for the new season “to return all their support to the fans in the form of titles”, a “challenge” that they will also achieve “with the effort and work” of the squad.
“We need to face the new season with new objectives and this season we will achieve it with your support, the effort of the team and the work of the players,” said the coach this Tuesday in the preview of the Joan Gamper Trophy against French team Montpellier.
The coach had words of “thank you” for the Barça fans, remembering the Barça-Wolfsburg first leg of the semifinals of the Women’s Champions League, the match with the most spectators in the stadium thanks to the 91,648 fans that populated the Camp Nou. “We have lived unforgettable moments here at the Johan Cruyff and also at the Camp Nou”, he celebrated.
“Our challenge is to give you joy and give you back all the support during the season in the form of titles,” insisted Giráldez, who also asked the club’s fans to “trust” the squad. “We have the best fans in the world,” Giráldez settled his speech in a Johan Cruyff who will hang the ‘no tickets’ sign for Barça’s third friendly match this preseason.
