Giménez, without problems, but Koke’s doubts remain

Atlético trained this morning to continue preparing for this Sunday’s clash (9:00 p.m.) against Betis. The rojiblanco team has several important casualties for itself: Wass, Cunha, Kondogbia, Savic and Hermoso, so Simeone has the right men to move to Andalusian lands. The coach will have to pull the subsidiary, something that is common throughout the season.

Giménez worked without problems along with the rest of his teammates. In Thursday’s session, he was part of the session, but did not participate in the match. It is something that was already stipulated in advance. The Uruguayan defender will be in the game against Betis. And his contest is important due to the losses of Savic and Hermoso.

Koke, on the other hand, did only part of the training. He did the physical part and later retired. It seemed that the midfielder could get to the game, even if he was to be on the bench. It will be necessary to see in the last training session before the match if Koke does it normally and if he later enters the summoned list. Koke played in Pamplona, but missed the matches against Manchester United and Celta.

Atlético will train tomorrow and in the afternoon they will travel to Seville, where they will arrive for dinner and stay focused. The game against Betis is a new final. A game against a direct rival, since Betis is third and adds one point more than Atlético in the standings. A match, then, of great importance for the Madrid team.
