MADRID, 17 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The German Daniel Siebert will be in charge of refereeing this Tuesday the match of the third day of the group stage of the Champions League between Atlético de Madrid and Liverpool at the Wanda Metropolitano, while the Serbian Srdjan Jovanovic will do the same on same day in the duel between Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid in Kiev.
The German referee will be assisted by his compatriots Rafael Foltyn and Lasse Koslowski in the work of linesmen, by Sven Jablonski as fourth official and by Bastian Dankert in the management of the VAR.
Meanwhile, Jovanovic will lead a Whites’ match in the competition for the second time, after last season’s match on the first day of last season against Shakhtar Donetsk himself with a Madrid defeat at Alfredo Di Stéfano (2-3).
For his part, Extremadura referee Jesús Gil Manzano will deliver justice in another match on Tuesday, which will face Ajax and Borussia Dortmund at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
