Genoa spent much of last season flirting with relegation and after saving themselves on a final agonizing day, the Italian club announced a new replacement on their bench. ‘Il Grifone’ reported the arrival of Rolando Maran as a replacement for Davide Nicola, the current coach.
The veteran coach has signed a contract for the next two seasons, until 2022, and will start working the next few days on the return of the players' vacations.
Genoa managed to save the category after a win in the last round against Hellas Verona, closing the course with 10 wins, nine draws and 19 losses.
