‘Futura Hobby’ ends its ninth season with the participation of 9,830 children from all over Spain

The ‘Future Hobby’ project, developed by the LaLiga Foundation with the aim of transmitting the positive values ​​of sport, ended in Los Ángeles de San Rafael, in Segovia, its ninth edition with the participation of a total of 9,830 boys and girls from all over Spanish geography, according to a statement issued this Wednesday.

This program, launched in 2015, has as its main objective “to promote and encourage aspects such as respect, sportsmanship and fair play with the purpose of eradicating violence in sport in general and in football in particular”, in the youngest.

The main novelty of the season has been the development of the ‘Future Hobby’ days with the LaLiga clubs, in which qualified instructors visited some of the stadiums to carry out the fun and interactive workshops of this initiative, for the junior and senior categories. kindergartens, nursery schools and sports centers of Atlético de Madrid, RC Celta, Granada CF, SD Huesca and Real Zaragoza.

During these sessions, an itinerary was completed where participants overcame a series of practical and reflective challenges, focused on knowledge and the relevance of teamwork or respect for the rival, as well as non-violence in any of its manifestations.

In addition, each day also featured the implementation of the module ‘Out of Play Al Aroso’, specific to this topic, and created for this ninth edition of ‘Futura Hobby’, with the advice of the Spanish Association for Bullying (AEPAE). ).

In an interactive and didactic format, the ‘Future Hobby’ materials have been present in 487 classrooms distributed in 245 educational centers for students between 8 and 12 years of age, and distributed among the 17 autonomous communities and cities of the National territory.

To put the finishing touch to the season, this Tuesday the development of the ‘Future Hobby’ workshop took place during LaLiga Camps, held at the Los Ángeles de San Rafael sports complex (Segovia), where nearly 50 children were able to enjoy the activities, focusing on actions that help overcome conflicts and improve competitiveness, knowing how to win and lose, or gender equality in sport.

“We are closing a very important season of the project, in which we have had the collaboration of the clubs to help us spread the message of promoting good sporting attitudes and conduct from the grassroots of our football. We are very satisfied to have continued with our commitment to work from schools with a focus on prevention and raising awareness around the values ​​of sport,” said Olga de la Fuente, director of the LaLiga Foundation.
