The union is a personal commitment of Amanda Gutiérrez, a lawyer specialized in labor law and women’s sports law, and of the international FC Barcelona players Andrea Pereira and Patricia Guijarro, who wish to “defend the labor rights of Spanish soccer players, promoting a full attention to their needs and creating a safe environment in which to share problems and concerns of their sector “.

FUTPRO will have as specific purposes “to guide, advise and defend its affiliates in everything that concerns their sporting activity, represent and protect the collective interests and image of its affiliates before all kinds of people, entities, public or private organizations, contribute with its activities and proposals aimed at the competent bodies, related to the promotion, development and improvement of women’s football, and promoting activities aimed at maintaining professional promotion, effective occupation and other labor rights of professional soccer players “.
Footballers such as Alexia Putellas, Sandra Paños and Irene Paredes (FC Barcelona), Laia Aleixandri (Atlético de Madrid), Anna Torrdà (Valencia CF), Garazi Murua (Athletic Club) or Nerea Eizagirre (Real Sociedad) are some of the members of the association, as reported by the union.
